Much like the federal government implementation of Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act in 2014, New York State can follow suit and enact 7% requirements in employment. By implementing hiring levels for state contract holders and state agencies, businesses will look to hire more individuals with disabilities. And, most importantly individuals with disabilities in New York State will see more of our own working, creating larger dreams for all of us to achieve.
